SUMMARY:Act on Climate Garage Sale Fundraiser
DESCRIPTION:Support the Act on Climate collective by grabbing a bargain at our Garage Sale Fundraiser on Saturday 28 June at Friends of the Earth’s HQ in Collingwood! \nThere will be clothing\, books\, artwork\, small homewares and other random items. \nJoin us on Saturday 28 June for a rummage\, lunch to FoE Food Co-Op Cafe and\, hopefully\, the discovery of some wonderful pre-loved items! \nAct on Climate campaigns for climate justice with frontline communities\, workers\, and unions. The collective is building an alliance with grassroots groups towards climate resilience and local solutions with social justice at its core. \nWe are currently campaigning for adequate and ongoing funding for community-led adaptation to prepare us for locked-in climate impacts. Alongside our push for funding\, we’re assisting communities to start creating the solutions needed to keep people and Country safe. \nWe are self sustaining\, independent and never accept money from political parties\, big banks\, or extractive industries. Fundraisers and memberships provide vital campaign resources for us to continue campaigning. \n  \n\np.s. if you have anything you can donate to us to sell at our garage sale\, let us know!
