DESCRIPTION:Gardening in Small Spaces \nFrom small plots to productive pots\, a sustainable garden is possible regardless of where you live. \nThis workshop will provide participants with simple solutions to make the most of your garden space\, no matter how small. Learn tips and tricks to make your balcony\, courtyard or garden seem bigger and to set it up for gardening success. \nTopics covered include assessing and planning your garden space\, growing in containers and pots\, vertical gardening\, soil and potting mixes\, habitat gardening and more. Presented by Sustainable Gardening Australia\, come and learn how to grow a garden that is good for both you and the environment. \nIf you have any access or support questions or requirements in order to participate fully (eg. interpreter)\, please let us know at least two weeks prior to the event and we will be pleased to assist you.  Photos and video may be taken at this event\, but there is an option to opt out on the day. \nThis My Smart Garden event is proudly presented by City of Port Phillip on the land of the people of the Kulin Nations.  City of Port Phillip and My Smart Garden pays respect to Elders past\, present and emerging and acknowledges that First Nations peoples have cared for Country sustainably for tens of thousands of years.
