DESCRIPTION:Join us for a fun adventure\, discovering the wonders of Nangak Tamboree Wildlife Sanctuary on a nature orienteering expedition. \nNature based orienteering consists of a series of checkpoints hidden in the bush each with an activity to complete\, for example locating something or answering a nature-based question. \nParticipants are provided with a trail map and location of the checkpoints\, plus all the necessary equipment needed. \nThis event is open to all and suitable for families and while the sanctuary has well-maintained paths\, full access with walkers\, prams and wheelchairs may not be possible in all areas. \nSessions\nThere is a morning session and afternoon session\, both will cover the same information. DESCRIPTION:Event description\n\nAs summer heats up\, it’s time to create a lush\, abundant garden while keeping your water use (and bills) low by adapting to the changing climate! \nJoin us for a Water Smart workshop\, covering topics including garden design for shelter from sun and hot winds\, irrigation systems\, working with slopes\, greywater\, rainwater tanks\, drought-hardy edible plants\, and the wonders of wicking beds. \nSunday 10 November\n2pm–4pm\nMurrumbeena Community Garden\,\n117 Murrumbeena Rd\, Murrumbeena VIC 3163 \n———————————————————— \nPlease feel free to bring any surplus produce\, seeds\, cuttings\, plants\, gardening magazines etc to swap and share! \n  \nPlease note that this is an event for Naarm/Melbourne gardeners only.
