SUMMARY:Grassland tour – The Lakes\, Taylors Lakes
DESCRIPTION:This is a cracking little grassland in a powerline easement. It was mown for years\, but that stopped in 2019 and now it’s bursting with a range of native wonders\, including Critically Endangered Spiny Rice-flower\, Kangaroo Grass and Lemon Beauty Heads. It was burnt last year\, so we’re looking forward to a great show this year. A fine example of how resilient our grasslands are. \nLater the same day\, we’re going to the Jolly’s Grassland out in Parwan\, near Bacchus Marsh. It’s a stunning privately owned grassland. Make a day of it! \nFeature photo: Wildflower artwork on site. \nThis event is being run by the Grassy Plains Network. \nPlease RSVP on wesbite.
