Garden Party for Children’s Week 2024

🌿🌸 You’re Invited to a Garden Party for Kids & Grown-Ups! 🌸🌿

Come celebrate Children’s Week 2024 in a morning packed with soil, plants and fun!

For the Little Sprouts (Ages 0-5):
Join a growing-themed adventure where your child will:

• Learn about the different parts of a plant and what they do
• Discover what plants need to grow and stay happy
• Explore plant diversity with sensory activities
• Dance and sing through the plant lifecycle
• Plant their very own seedling to take home and nurture

For the Big Kids (Ages 5+):
Concurrently, there will be a workshop for older children who will:

• Discover tips and tricks to make gardening a blast
• Be inspired by fun gardening projects to try at home
• Plant their own seed or seedling to take home and grow

Grown-ups will be encouraged to join in the sessions and learn how to foster a lifetime love for nature. Please accompany and supervise your child at this event.

PLUS storytime, funky tunes and colouring-in activities while you explore the new Sutton Avenue Kindergarten playground.
